Minneapolis police searching for arson suspects

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Minneapolis police are looking for suspects in a string of seventeen fires.  The fires were set in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis. The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office has charged a Brooklyn Park man with Second Degree Manslaughter in the death of his son according to KARE 11. St. Paul Police arrest 100 drivers during DWI crack-down.

In an 18-day crack-down across Minnesota, St. Paul Police arrested 100 drivers for driving while intoxicated or driving under the influence as KAAL out of Austin, MN reported.  Across Minnesota, drunken driving arrest numbers were up—about 1,800 drivers were arrested.  Minneapolis Police only arrested 24 drivers.
